How to Order

First contact us by email or phone to discuss what you need and check on availability. We will provide a price quote and an estimated shipping cost, and give an estimate of waiting time if the flute is not in stock. Let us know when you are ready to order. We can accept payment by Paypal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), check, or money order.

In-stock flutes are usually shipped within 2-3 days (allow an additional 10 days to clear a personal check).

If the flute is not in stock, we will confirm the delivery schedule and price, and put your name on the waiting list. A deposit may be required for non-standard customized flutes. We will contact you about 3-4 weeks before scheduled completion and make arrangements for payment, which will be due two weeks before the shipping date. Credit card payments are processed 2-3 days before shipping the flute.

Shipping Information

Within the United States, we ship flutes US Postal Service Priority mail, with insurance. For shipments outside the continental United States, we usually ship by US Postal Service Global Express.

Warranty and Trial Period

All new flutes carry a one year warranty covering defects in material and manufacturing. There is a 30 day trial period from the delivery date, and if you return your flute within that time you will receive a refund. For standard keyed and keyless flutes the refund is 100% of the purchase price. For special and customized flutes the refund may be reduced to reflect the resale value.

Waiting List

Our waiting list has varied from zero to 8 months. To check on current waiting times and in-stock flutes please check our Current Availablity page. We try work on a “first come first served” basis, though this may change sometimes to enable efficient production. The quoted delivery dates are based on a planned production schedule with contingency time built in for unplanned delays. We make every effort to ship on schedule, but we will not compromise quality in order to meet a schedule.
